Broken Wheel

As fate would have it, one wheel on my suitcase went broke on the first day of my trip. So for I literally dragged what the airport weighed as a 70 pound bag (pedals and cables dudes) around 4 cities in 3 countries before I sold enough cds to remedy the situation. This train effort however misses the guitar on my back and smaller rolling suitcase that flanked my other hand. Oh, the super human strength of touring.

The Brand New Do-Wop Sistas

Having so much fun singing with my soul sisters at a gig for Marit Bergman with Nina Persson and Joy Askew at Highline Ballroom. As much as I like playing with looping pedals and vocal toys and such, there is simply nothing that replaces singing live with other humans. Somehow, it is still a dream of my mine to wear a sequince dress and long black gloves, do step to step dance moves, and hold down the fort of soul with the sisters!

Hotel Cafe 7.9.06

That's me in the back lounge, where late nite after the gig is when the real gig begins. I got myself into a decent amount of trouble while makin some music with my favorite west coasters. Ahh, LA I miss you, and promise to return soon to try and serenade you to be mine once more!

Why choose when you can have both?

We use analog & digital at our home studio setup in PA. Record to 1/2" 8 Track, then dump it into Protools to do overdubs and mixing. Moderno e classico!

Omlettes are a must...

yes that's me looking very sexy in the moring. But I a sure you, I cook a mean omlette, amongst other culinary treats to spice the music right, all while talking to record execs on the phone, before breakfast!

Nite Lights...

Call me a freak but vintage gear with all it's lights and knobs just turns me on...

Jack Petruzzelli in the house!

There's the man some call "The Smooth" or "Jack the Mechanic" makin some magic...

"The Lake Effect"

Not too shabby, this is what can be seen and felt right outside the door of our studio. ahh, making music here rocks!!! It is amazing in the winter too, covered in ice and snow. Tho it is esp handy when you are stuck on a take or a track in the summer - you must go dive in and come out clean with "The Lake Effect".

Pete Kepler...the man behind the gear

That's Pete! Kepler who does live sound with likes of David Bowie and Nine Inch Nails loves to come visit us in our getaway studio and do a little dance with the digi-analog set up (to make us sound like neither of the aforementioned).

Soma My Boyz

Here are 4 of my most secret weapons... From L to R we got JOE BENNETT (Violin, Trumpet/any instrument he picks up), BENJAMIN KALB (Cello - killer cuteness), ROB RYAN (music freak and kindred crazy spirit), JACK PETRUZZELLI (Guitars, all around sexy sounds).

The Scene of the Crime...Lakehouse Studios

I'm sure this is not what the Petruzzelli's had in mind when they decorated their dining room. Yes, we do convert it into a live room for recording at will, and then magically back into a summer home before they see it. oops:)
